Honestly I don't know what to make of this but at least he really seems to be putting thought into what he said and his stance on the issue which is more than I can say for a lot of people.

Read the whole thing and he seems to be saying that his opinion hasn't changed but sorry if you were offended. And that he serves serves serves.

I have likened it to being a peach in a can of syrup yet fully conscious.

I wish my depression felt like this, that would be some sexy ass depression.

yeah it's more like being a peach that got dropped on the kitchen floor and started go bad because it's been a few days

I am now going to self-medicate by listening to Peaches by Presidents of the USA and pretending to be a peach half smothered in syrup and rubbing up against other peach halves.

Thanks, Henry.

having said that i think it's cool that he is trying to listen to what people are telling him about suicide and it seems like he's really trying to learn from it, even if he doesn't change his mind. cuz someone who might've agreed with his initial comments could see this article and it could inform their thinking

Jen taking questions from the press backstage after she won the golden globe for best actress. She was looking around for the person who was asking her a question.

I like that he didn't try to patch up his mistake by acting like he knows everything about the ins and outs of depression now that he's read a few emails. It's nice to see that he realizes that it's going to take time and effort to unlearn those ideas he has about what severe depression is like for other people.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this apology, but I still question why he chose to publish that piece so soon after Robin Williams' suicide. Didn't part of him think that he should hold off for the sake of Williams' family?
