I don't know why they're pushing the Governor as the big threat for S4 as well, because he has TWO OTHER PEOPLE ffs what are they going to do? Rick & Co. have like 65+ Octogenarians now, so...

My bf briefed me the first and the second season so that I could watch with him and his brother the third season, but I feel like I missed something.

So which season is better to watch: 1 or 2?

s1 is better but there are some really good eps in s2 as well it's just a bit slow

I marathoned the show recently and I enjoyed S2, I think all episodes are worth at least one watch either for the story or the characters. The season is not really that slow when you are watching it in one go and even some of the filler moments are enjoyable.

But in case you're going to skip some episodes, I have to tell you: whatever you do, don't skip 4-8!
