terrence malick is like a superstar here in austin and I had just ~kinda sorta~ heard of him before I moved here. I joined the acting "scene" just a little over a month ago and everyone is all over his dick. naturally, I'd love to work with him one day. lmao, even if he's supposedly awful -- I had a friend that was a personal assistant to him for just three weeks bc she couldn't stand him/the job any longer

frankly I'm not sure. my friend is not a reliable source (bc she was going through a ~hard time~ in her life during that period) but apparently he was very demanding of her. she had to do a lot of things fast, much faster than she could manage, and she got tired of being forced into situations she "couldn't actually do" ie get starbucks in under 10 minutes, get dry-cleaning done within the hour, etcetera
