So what happened? I haven't watched this show in a couple of years.

It was pretty anti-climactic. Julie had her baby and Ms. McClusky died. Susan moved away to help Julie raise the baby, Lynette and Tom moved to NY so that Lynette could FINALLY be the working girl she should have been all along, Bree married her lawyer and moved away and became a politician, and Gabi moved to LA with Carlos after getting her own show on HSN. It was kind of implied that once the girls moved away they didn't see each other again.

Haven't watched DH in years, though I do wish I'd kept up with it as I enjoyed it when I bothered to watch. What's the most exciting/dramatic thing to have happened in the last few years?

Mike Delfino died earlier this season? Probably the most dramatic, but there have been tornadoes, fires, etc. I don't know the last season you saw, but there's been lots of drama!
