a few minutes ago i finished this amaaaaaaazing white chocolate truffle bar that my mom brought me. i was like "i miss you already" ... then i saw a little broken piece on the clusterfuck that is my coffee table. without even pausing, i popped it in my mouth and bit down.

that's when i discovered that it was not white chocolate, but a piece of deodorant that came off my stick that i forgot about. i started drooling and spitting it out, and then my mouth immediately dried out completely and tasted awful. then i started gargling pepsi...then i told my mom and she started laughing impossibly loud and went into the other room saying "wow... wow. wow."

i can't believe i did that. maybe if i'd had my glasses on. maybe if i'd paused for more than a millisecond before putting it in my mouth. maybe if the coffee table wasn't such an astounding mess.

i guess i'll never know. but i've learned a lesson, and i hope you all will too, so that what just happened will never happen to anyone else.
