Josh Hutcherson ("The Kids Are All Right") will star in and executive produce the indie horror comedy "Detention," according to Variety. Dane Cook is also attached to star, and music video helmer Joseph Kahn has signed on to direct.
In the film, a group of teenagers must literally survive their final year of high school as a slasher movie killer comes to life to terrorize them. The independently-produced feature commences filming next month with a $10 million budget.
