We've obtained a video of Chris Brown telling his fans how sorry he is over the Rihanna assault.
Brown says he wanted to apologize earlier but couldn't on the advice of his lawyer.

I heard someone say recently, "People are always sorry when they get caught."

I think he meant, "I'm sorry I got caught, that the charges went through (I was so hoping it would get dropped like my lawyer said it might!), and that y'all are so angry with me."
