9-member girl group Girls' Generation picked up their 5th consecutive K-Chart win at KBS2TV Music Bank this evening, 13th February with their hit single Gee. They were up against Daesung's trot single Daebak Ya! and SS501 Boys Before Flower song Because I'm Stupid but still managed to eke out a win. The win also meant that Girls' Generation have now equalled the Wonder Girls consecutive wins with So Hot in the middle of last year. The girls should now aim for Jewelry's record of 7 consecutive wins with Baby One More Time set around the same period as what Girl's Generation are doing now. Certainly achievable.
The girls said in their acceptance speech, "Thank you to everyone who showed us love. And I want to say I love you, especially to our fans." Jo Kwon of 2AM later joined in with them as they performed an encore of Gee.

Taegoon gets love call from Thailand
Only 4 short weeks since his debut, newcomer, Taegoon is already fending off “love calls” to perform from Thailand, China and Hong Kong. His debut track, “Call Me” has garnered attention from the overseas market, but we think it’s not him that the fans are interested in….. it’s Dong-bang-shin-ki member Jaejoong, who is featured in the music video. Right?
