 Fashionista G-Dragon

G-Dragon has already been well-known for his eccentric style. He attended the Marc Jacobs fashion show last November and his affinity for designer brands and shoes was noted recently in the media. Some of the signature accessories he had sported (and surprisingly looked good in) are the psych-ward mohawk, emo eye makeup, and girly headbands. GD's fashion fervor even got him into some trouble in August 2008 when his fashion sense lacked a little common sense.

Now G-Dragon has cleaned up and popped up on a trend-spotter website called Streetpeeper. Streetpeeper captures global street trends around world in major cities like Paris, New York, London, Melbourne, and Tokyo. Seems like some other people out there are starting to take notice of his taste.

TVXQ Preview - Stand Up

The preview of the track "Stand Up" from TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's upcoming 4th Japanese Album, "The Secret Code" has been released.

It has a nice and uptempo dance-type beat to it, it should be another hit... although they'll have some stiff competition. Can't wait until the release of the full album. Listen to it below.

According to the rumor, Yunho and Jaejoong were spotted at a Hotel's swimming pool in Seoul. There was a camera crew filming them but no one know's exactly what they were shooting (either new MV, film, or CF). Either way, the hotel looks awesome; even better than the one in Wrong Number.

Korea Banning System bans again

But this time, the other two major broadcasting stations, MBC and SBS come together for a joint ban on new “older” girl group, After School. From their singles album, the lyrics from the hiphop track, “Bad Guy” has become the bone of contention.

The track is about the revenge on a two-faced bad guy who plays it cool. References are made to violence, i.e. “breaking necks” and there is also the use of profanity. And since it’s rap, the lyrics sounds all the more harsh.

But shouldn’t this track to a message to all those two-timing no-good-for nothing guys who think they can get away with playing you?

After School’s management is considering a change of lyrics.

“World status” Rain gets paid only 8.3 million won

With the Korean media touting Rain as a “world star,” you would think that entails raking in massive amounts of money. But, for Rain, it’s different. Even though Magic Stick has the leading role in the Hollywood movie, “Ninja Assassin,” the ESL student will only be getting paid 8.3 million won (approx. 5900 USD). However, at his contract signing, he received a sizable 500 thousand USD. No wonder he was cast!

Rain has the name value in Asia and he’s cheap.
