Gossip Girl wants to touch your body. (MOAR!)
The other day we all had a good laugh at the new OMFG re-launch campaign for The CW's Gossip Girl.
"Does it really say OMFG or is that photoshopped?"
It really says OMFG. Here are the high-larious new ads anticipating the show's return, complete with lots of internet-inspired cries of excitement and surprise. Sex is meaningful a good selling point!

Here are the other two. The editing is too fast for me to be sure, but no shots of JC and Chace are used. Shame.
What do we think? Does this represent the show well? Does it make you want to tune in?
I know a lot of people scoffed at the poster, but honestly I think it's a funny campaign. The show shouldn't take itself too seriously, and it's nice to see them playing with internet vernacular (the title character is a gossip blogger after all) and being so desperate sexy. Hopefully they'll follow up with some ads where Blair gives Jenny the stink eye and "STFD BITCH" flashes on the screen.
