Since starring as Ralphie, Peter Billingsley has worked behind the scenes in production, including being the executive producer for the Break Up, starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. He also makes cameos in the Break Up (one of their bowling friends) and in Elf!
Randy
Ian Petrella didn't continue in acting (only having acted in a few films as a child), and now resides in San Francisco working as a puppeteer. Yep.
The Old Man
Darren McGavin had a very successful career, starring in film, stage and TV. He appeared on shows like Touched by and Angel and the X Files, as well as acting in many more movies, includng Raw Deal with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dead Heat. McGavin died last year at the age of 83.
Scut Farkus
Zack Ward is still acting, having appeared on many TV Shows (Lost, CSI: Miami, Charmed), as well as in movies like Transformers and Freddy Vs. Jason.

Scott Schwartz seems to have moved on to a career in adult films, appearing in movies like The Wrong Snatch, New Wave Hookers 5, and Dirty Bob's Xcelent Adventures, with Ron Jeremy. Well then. Also coming out soon, The Coffin, a horror film based on a cursed coffin wreaking havoc.
