I agree with her re: forgiveness. I've seen it too often being used against people who have more than valid reasons not to fuck with folks and excuses shit behavior. It also puts the onus on the wronged party instead of the instigator. Not everyone deserves forgiveness, and it's better to remember and heal than forgive and forget.

I’ve had the privilege of being able to see her perform live with The New Pornographers and her voice is kickass and so unique in person! I can’t believe what her mom did to her/all the additional trauma she’s endured. Let me buy ha book right quick, damnnnn

I see her every time I get the chance (solo, with the new pornographers, as case/lang/viers), she's such an incredible and engaging performer. I got my whole family into her lol.
