Disease tanked and the only saving grace of this album rollout is DWAS which has been tacked on the album after it was originally meant to be a standalone single. Lol

It's the last track so it's basically a bonus track imo (despite whatever Gaga says to the contrary lol). There's an official bonus track version album but DWAS is still the last track so I think she's sandwiching it like the Born This Way bonus tracks

I don't even care for BP, but one thing that kpop fans do is buying physical media. The game Swifities think they are the kings (aka buy multiple of a merch) was mastered by kpop fans ages ago!

+ Jennie’s album has collabs with Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, Doechii and Kali Uchis so I think her streams are going to be strong especially if they go heavy with playlisting for each of those artists. Dominic Fike and FKG also have collabs but idk their pull.

She was really smart, because these collabs are for streaming only, so it's were people who don't know her, will listen to their favorite artists colllaborating with her, while her fans if they want the solo only version of the songs they have to buy the album.

Jennie's album will most likely do around the same numbers as Rose, unless she gets lucky and has a single blow up like APT did.

I'd be surprised by that. didn't Lisa and jisoo near 1mil sales? rose's were lower than I thought they'd be and I think Jennie's will be bigger. streaming wise I doubt she'll top apt

Lisa had around 800k for Lalisa and Jisoo had 1mil for Flower. Lisa has the largest dedicated fanbase of the four girls and Jisoo released during a time when kpop sales were very overinflated.

The thing about the BP girls is that while they all have big solo fanbases, the majority of their diehards, who will buy 2, 3, 4 copies of the album on multiple credit cards, live in Asian countries. So their US sales will always look pretty mediocre in relation to their ~global~ popularity.

Jennie has a larger dedicated fanbase than Rose, so she'll probably move more physical units. She'll get a ton of streams (especially since all the features on her album are streaming only) which will put some wind behind her sales, but I agree that it won't top APT. That's why I see her doing the about the same as Rose, or slightly better at the most, unless a single of hers takes off the same way.
