Must’ve hit her close to home miscarrying while working on Eastern Promises cause her character had a previous miscarriage and that plays a bit into the plot.

I finally watched the third season of Master of None which features IVF subplot and it definitely helped me to have a lot more compassion for those who struggle to conceive and know they really REALLY want to have kids. The way that a woman’s fertility starts drastically dropping off at such young ages really sucks because let’s be honest, a woman does not really benefit on any level in society from having children earlier.

I’ll be 38 and I’m single and queer so it feels less like a loss overall and I’m more opposed to being an old parent rather than feeling a need for biological children but man, I’m so glad I don’t have to not have this type of added stress to my life because I think it would just make me bitter
