Are they showing Sing Sing in theaters again? I’ll try to catch it this time. I want to make time to watch The Brutalist too but don’t know if I want to go out this weekend. I assume it’ll be in theaters at least another week or so.

I've been sick and have mostly been binging Pop Culture Jeopardy and The Gilded Age so I still have quite a few awards movies to catch up on. I really want to see I'm Still Here.

"This is the directorial debut of actor, writer, and director Julia Stiles." Colour me intrigued! I might check this one out too.

I just finished season 2 of The Gilded Age and would love your thoughts on season 2, whenever you're done! =)

I finished season 2 last night and overall I would say the characters lack the charisma and charm of Downton yet I still feel oddly compelled to keep watching? They really need a Lady Violet character.

Plus it's just so pretty to look at. I would hate to have to wear those dresses but they are gorgeous.

IA! It made season 1 a slog but the second season was much more compelling, I'm dying for season 3. What did you think of [Spoiler (click to open)]Larry and Marian potentially becoming a couple? I wish it had a bit more of a buildup, despite them interacting here and there, because I feel like the kiss was a bit out of nowhere. It also feels like Larry got over Mrs. Blane too quickly but maybe not, IDK.

i saw a complete unknown and, while the performances were solid across the board, monica barbaro kinda stole for show for me. i'm glad she snuck in at SAG.

i've been meaning to get to a different man and that might be this weekend. still waiting on stuff like the brutalist, nickel boys, and i'm still here to open near me.

I kinda wanted the whole film to be about Joan Baez just to have Monica in more scenes

I saw All We Imagine As Light and Nickel Boys (twice) last week and both of those movies blew me away. I think I'm going to go see Flow tonight.
