Yeah that miniseries had no redeeming value whatsoever. Has anyone seen The Last Showgirl? I have heard mixed reviews.

I was obsessed with her on VIP! I shipped her character with that no nonsense redhead hard. She was also great as Barbed Wired.

I just saw this last night. The ending almost felt like it was the character’s own delusion imo lol. I don’t think anyone else* could have played this character because she’s stunted and has obvious flaws as well as being right about things. Pam just makes it easy to love her and understand her without judging her imperfections.

is there anything too graphic in it? jamie lee curtis' weird ass comment about kiernan's character made me think there might be a rape or something, so I want to go prepared.

I didn’t see her comments but I’m gonna go search for them. Cause, no. Kiernan does an awkward dance number in regular dance warmup clothes when her character talks to Pam and Brenda’s backstage about a new show she auditioned for but I think it was supposed to be embarrassing and it’s not really that big of a deal. Kinda just very watching a teen do a TikTok dance but make it a showgirl audition lol. There is also a point to it that comes back around later with Pam’s character (without giving too much away).

Maybe it’s because we’re bombarded with nudity now in film and tv but I found the little there was in the film almost shocking and much appreciated! And there was absolutely no sex in the film at all.
