What the hell does he have to complain about? He’s the literal definition of having his cake and eating it too. He’s able to continue doing what he loves by treating women like shit while Hollywood continues to reward him for it. It’s a win/win so his looking for sympathy makes him look like an even bigger bitch than he is (if that’s even possible).

Plus I imagine he's got a huge ego as well as being a control freak, so anything being said that tarnishes his reputation with the public must piss him off, even if he still has tons of fans and a good career. And this is a huge black mark against him. I hope to see the day he's finally persona non grata (but I'm not holding my breath).

ITA. And LBR, he totally benefitted from not having any kids around. The talks a big talk, but would he have been able to gallivant all over Hollywood reviving his career like he did if he actually had to *gasp* PARENT his children? He loved living that single bachelor life again. Children have always been optional for men like him, even AFTER he's had them. The media ate it all up because it's run by men like him so he's just solidifying the victim complex of men like him to keep justifying all their abusive antics as defensive or whatever bullshit they spin to paint themselves as good people.
