I’ve been watching any Christmas movie that I can on Netflix to get my mind off of the real world and the Hallmark ones are so bad. Like especially bad. I had to turn off the one with Lacy Chabert and Scott Wolf because even though they’re supposed to be siblings it was very much acted like they’re resentful exes and it was WEIRD.

I thought the show was cute and harmless, so it was nice for the holidays. I liked that the non-acting challenges were usually something that everyone was bad at, like wrapping presents or making ugly Christmas sweaters. I prefer when the non-skill based challenges are things where it's hard to get super competitive. When they're sports-related (like the men playing flag football to get extra time with the bachelorette), they tend to get super aggro which I do not find appealing. When they're doing these silly challenges, they can't get too competitive because none of them are good at it which levels the playing field (and they can't just brute force their way through it).

I thought this show was super cute for the holidays. I'd watch another season.
