They do that a lot, and then sometimes play movies that are not on their Coming Soon. One theater said they were playing The Menu - and had a POSTER up and and all - then never did, but the theater next town over never said they were and added it suddenly the Thursday it came out.

Update: It is most certainly still on their Coming Soon page, but I think this must be auto-populated from some weird list because the other Coming Soon things are Interstellar: IMAX Exclusive (it is def not an IMAX theater), Devils Stay (a Korean movie), Laufey's A Night at the Symphony, Werewolves, Y2K, NCT DREAM Mystery Dreamscape, and Daft Punk and Leiji Matsumoto: Interstella 5555. I highly doubt they will show any of them.

The biggest theater in my area - which only has 6 screens, mind you, so not big - isn't using one of theirs and this weekend is only playing Moana 2 on two screens and one each for Wicked, Gladiator 2, and Red One of all things.

It's the theater that claims they're showing The Return and Y2K and most certainly are not, too LOL. The theater in my town is also showing Bonhoeffer but not every day. I guess that's their Christian movie of the month until Homestead starring Neal McDonough comes out.

Tonight, we're going to see Day of the Fight with a Q&A. Then tomorrow, we're going to see The End, also with a Q&A. Will definitely get to Y2K and The Order eventually, too, but this month is really packed.
I saw Nightbitch at a film festival in October and really enjoyed it! It's not an award movie, but it's fun, and I liked Amy a lot.

We may take our daughter to see Moana this weekend, but she's getting over a cold and my husband and I are coming down with it, so not great odds. It will be her first movie theater experience so I don't want it to be too challenging.
