Deserved. I must say, if you don't like Beyonce, her singles are by far her weakest work. She's mad eit more cohesive with her later albums but she is 100% a sit down and experience her albums kind of artist
Controversial opinion that I didn't have 2 years ago (until a revisit), but I think "4" is her strongest and most cohesive album.
"B-Day" was my number 1 forever. I did jump on the "Lemonade" train for a while. I even had "Renaissance" on repeat for 2 years+ and still play most of it, but that is the album for me, I think.
4 isn't my favorite as a whole album (Renaissance and Self titled are my fav. as album listening) but it has some of my favorite songs (I care is still untouchable to me)
I think because I was going through a very, very toxic relationship and prolonged break-up when I revisited '4'... it just hit harder. That album has some dark songs.
