Nah, this was the right move. The problem is that he’s probably going to just pardon his son and no one else. That’s what pisses me off about him and the Dems.
hasn't he already pardoned quite a lot of people on a federal level? like for small crimes like weed possession and stuff. He can't do anything about state crimes.
He has. I’m talking about him doing anything he can within his power, though. He can do MORE. But, I don’t think he will. People are saying we could have a 12 Days of Christmas from Dark Brandon and… idk where they seem to get this confidence in Biden. He’s going to excuse his son and go out quietly. That’s it.
Biden’s use of the pardon has been historically low for any president. It’s part of what makes this stand out so much. In addition his sweeping pardon regarding marijuana crimes released exactly zero people from prison.
Many had hoped he would use his pardon power to correct some of the wrongs of his past. Crime bill etc. He has not.
Pardoning Hunter is prob best for him given what’s coming. But it’s his failure to use this power to alleviate the wrongs done to others that is absolutely infuriating.
It's sad that you have no understanding of the entire situation. US Attorneys from all over the US have said if Hunter wasn't Biden's son, he never would have been prosecuted this way.
I agree with @KGreenberg. When I was Chief of the San Jose Branch of the US Attorney's Office, I, too, was responsible for approving charging and declination decisions. I would not have approved any of the charges brought against Hunter Biden. https://t.co/8InXSnJ5LP - Elizabeth de la Vega 🇺🇸🦅 (@Delavegalaw) December 2, 2024
Honestly I’m alarmed people care about this. Hunter should’ve never been prosecuted. It’s a nonviolent crime. Biden is old as fuck and already lost a daughter and wife. As if hunter wouldn’t have been targeted in prison.

There are so many people who are in jail for similar nonviolent crimes. Why does it surprise you that people are mad at the hypocrisy?
