Belle is on TikTok, isn’t she? Or she was at some point. It’s insane to me that she escaped any sort of consequences. Idc if she has mental health issues or whatever, she fucked with people’s lives.
Last night I found out about some asshole who is promoting drinking 6 week old raw milk. She literally mixed the vile chunks in it as she talked about wellness. I reported her account and several videos because fuuuuuck her. I hate people like this.
That's disgusting about the raw milk. It's also gonna be soooo much worse as avian flu spreads and people keep consuming foods that are both unpasteurized and not properly cooked.
Oh shit, I learned about her after Maintenance Phase did an episode on her.
Having watched my dad die of cancer it fucking pisses me off that anyone would fake having cancer. Between this and the Grey's Anatomy writer I don't understand why anyone would fake having cancer of all things (I know, attention, money, scammers gonna scam, etc).
But also I need to take a moment to talk about how goddamn infuriating it was to see various members of my family push similar stuff on my dad. Keep in mind that by the time he got diagnosed his cancer was already stage four and had metastasized to his bones. We knew it was terminal from the start. Despite that his siblings seemed to think that it could be cured by foods like bone broth, beets, organic butter, and gluten free crackers. It just boggles my mind that my dad was dying of cancer and my aunt thought that it mattered to make sure he had gluten free crackers*.
I am so sorry you had to experience that - especially from family. :(
When I was first diagnosed with a serious chronic illness my uncle kept pushing a “miracle remedy” of putting honey in a watermelon and burying it in dirt for some period of time. How the fuck would that help ANYTHING? Let alone a chronic issue.
Thanks bb. It was so frustrating because this all happened when he had less than a year left. The same aunt who was pushing organic foods also refused to look at his scans because it was "too upsetting." It's a lot of refusing to confront reality and wanting to believe in miraculous cures. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that with your uncle. I know a lot of people with chronic illnesses and they have all received some form of nonsensical advice. I think a lot of people would rather give pointless advice then just say "Hey this sucks and I'm sorry it's happening to you."
Wow that’s so crazy. I like ACV for literally everything especially for hair and skincare routines etc which is amazing. but apparently, they are no good for yer stomach linings. Made sense that it always felt drinking acid or something if you’re going overboard with it or consume it longterm. Scary 😢
I check in on a dipshit influencer who moved to Bali and started a clothing line once in a while, and at one point she was drinking turpentine to try to treat chronic pain. She eventually “cured” herself by drinking a gallon of celery juice a day, and likes to post about it by showing a picture of herself looking a little bloated and frowning as her before and one of her looking super skinny and smiling in a bikini as an after and people eat it up.
