sounds intriguing. is it good? I hope it does well since we know Hollywood is about to make all major projects white cast-only.

Wait, why did I think this was a movie?? Now I need to find the post where the trailer was posted because I swear I commented and thought it was a movie. Oof.

But I’ll take a series since it means more Ronny 🥰

Will have to start this tomorrow.

I watched the first episode and it reminded me a lot of Free Guy. I think it’s an interesting concept, and I really like the scene transitions and tone shifts.

Oooo tonal shifts? Sounds kinda like Kevin Can Fuck Himself, which makes me even more intrigued to watch this. I’ll have to remember to check it out when I get Hulu again.

Chloe and Jimmy talked about it a little in some of the interviews. They use completely different lighting for the two different scenarios (the tv show vs his real life). Jimmy said that they also make him look different in the two scenarios (one thing I definitely remember him saying is that in his real life scenes, they barely put any makeup on him or Ronny so they look more real/less polished). I didn't think about it being similar to Kevin Can Fuck Himself until you mentioned it, but totally similar!
