I'm watching the episode right now and while I enjoy it more than I have most episodes this season (so far), having a March Madness episode in November is a little odd LOL.
eta: I am real fucking tired of Nandor and The Guide sleep hypnosis crush subplot.
Well, it was one of the better episodes of the season, but still. I know the showrunner has said he thinks Guillermo and Nandor are a gross pairing, but this show for multiple seasons, whether they liked it or not, kind of pushed the expectation of Nandermo and they're now just going out of their way to squash that and it's kind of sad. And that somehow WWDITS and [Spoiler (click to open)]The Righteous Gemstones were paired together in a will they/won't they race on Pajiba in 2023 and WWDITS was not the winner (and still isn't doing anything with it really) LMAO https://www.pajiba.com/tv_reviews/are-these-two-shows-in-a-queer-coupling-race.php And it's weird to me that WWDITS is still drawing that out with only a few episodes left in the series.

I didn't know he said this. That's really strange... why would they even bother pushing it, going so far as to show Nandor and Guillermo care for each other and Guillermo clearly loves him, just to be like "Nahhh."
I completely forgot that Nandor's thing for the Guide came from sleep hypnosis.
idk about making Nandor and Guillermo happen. I love it in theory, but given that Guillermo's not interested in becoming a vampire anymore and Nandor's too emotionally fragile to deal with losing a human lover to age and death, I don't see how it would really work. Unless they write in a work-around where they somehow both become mortal or immortal.
I know Natasia was pregnant and all but like, is Nadja even on this fucking show anymore? She's ALWAYS the one relegated to some bullshit plot with five seconds screentime, and she hasn't had an actual character arc or development since s3. And this is the last season! It's infuriating.
Still keeping up with this but it's tough. This season isn't grabbing me at all and it's sad to see them going out like this. We'll see how the final episodes turn out but yeah... not keeping my hopes up.
I’m still trying to figure out why one of HULU’s/FX’s top shows was not renewed for at least 2 more seasons? This show is cheap to make and has a steady fanbase.

Spending an entire episode with a banana was quite a choice on the writers' parts.
