I've recently gotten really into press ons this year since I don't have the art skills to do anything cool myself, nor the budget to pay for extravagant manicures. I stick to shorts and, at MOST, mediums. They make everything like ~25-40% more difficult and tricky so I feel like people are lyinggg when they claim long nails are easy peasy, however, I find them so fun so now I can't stop lol.

I've been wearing mediums on and off and most days I'm fine, don't even notice (except to admire them) but sometimes I almost feel...claustrophobic?? And immediately have to soak and tear them off. A friend gifted me some Trick R Treat themed longs and I'm mentally preparing myself for next fall/Halloween lol.

Long nails are easy lol. I don’t wear them like that but a natural long oval length and I’m basic so it was always either French, nude, red, or black nail. I stopped wearing them in August and just started doing builder gel/gel color on my natural nails cause I want to grow them out instead of using tips and I swear it took me almost two months to get used to using my hands without nails 😂. At work I would have to tell my coworkers, sorry, I’m used to having nails when I got clumsy with something.

Bidets exist.

Both of them are irritating as fuck, but he was out of line here.

I kind of freak out if my nails are too long - and by too long I mean if I see more than 3 or so mm at the top. I can go a bit longer if my nails are painted, but something about having long nails gives me a LOT of anxiety.

Bidets exist they do and they’re amazing. I carry biodegradable wipes with me over using toilet paper too because it’s just better.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but almost every biodegradable wipe on the market doesn't actually biodegrade.

I have to constantly explain to people that toilet paper is explicitly designed to dissolve in water but wipes aren't.

Men's noses look larger over time because of aging/gravity/sagging/etc, so it might just be that.

Somehow, for me, knowing how someone with long nails wipes is like knowing how the three seashells work - there is no way of truly knowing and you have to just take a wild guess because you don't really want to ask.
