Omg I actually get to participate in one of these posts AFTER watching the episode!

Allison falling over was so unexpected and absolutely hilarious. I’m just glad she didn’t get hurt.

No surprise about the top or bottom. But, I thought the judges were way too nice about the signature because most of them looked like shit.

My issue with croquembouche or any kind of profiterole tower challenge is that 99% of the time they look really messy. It's understandable since there's no way to guarantee that every single profiterole will come out the exact same size, but knowing that doesn't make them any less messy looking. Dylan's was the best looking, partly because of his nougatine component which gave it some structure.

I felt really bad because Alison falling off the counter was legit hilarious but I was also worried that she really hurt herself.

Even though the judges praised Georgie for using so many different piping techniques, when the camera zoomed in, you could see that her piping was actually very messy. I think Gil had the cleanest looking pipework.

Agreed on all points. I’m actually surprised they (mainly Paul) didn’t rip into Dylan for having such a different look. They always say they want something different and then balk when something different is shown, lol.

Gil could win this and it’s kinda exciting. She’s really.. rustic? in how she works (“it’s how it’s done in the North!”), but just keeps getting better and better.

Ha, exactly! Paul constantly says "we want to see something we've never seen before" but whenever a baker veers from the most traditional version of whatever it is, they get Paul's skeptical look during the walk around and "it doesn't really work" when they judge it.

I would love to try banoffee pie. I like all the ingredients individually so I’d happily give it a shot.

The rest was meh. The profiteroles didn’t look appetizing at all and anything they put craquelin on makes it instantly unappealing to me.

Gill really killed it on the signature. Even with Dylan and Georgie's elaborate piping I thought Gill's was head and shoulders above them in terms of creativity.

I was sad to see [Spoiler (click to open)]Illiyin go. Especially since she seemed so upset about it.

I do not think I have had banoffee pie, just banana cream pie

I am a fan of chocolate & mint/peppermint so I went with that because that would be my puck to try. I do not generally care much of cherries or hazelnut. They can all pipe better than I can.

Georgie's piping was like the equivalent of a PowerPoint with 10 different fonts. There was too much piping.

I was hoping for something more like this cake

I want Dylan to win and then get his own show.
