girl. I had lice twice when i was a kid and it got so bad my mom cut my hair both times. I 100% knew i had something wrong in my hair but just didn't have the vocabulary to express it. how would she go 2 weeks without finding one on her pillow or double checking, especially if everyone else in the household had them lol

If you have them for the first time it can take weeks for your body to show the allergic reaction to their bites, which means it won’t itch at all for weeks.
I found that out the hard way… I had tons of lice and countless nits by the time I started to notice something was wrong 😱🙈

And contrary to popular belief, they don‘t normally fall off if you brush your hair or shower or sleep. Unless your head is overcrowded with them.

Anyway, she is still the asshole for getting on the plane with them… I don‘t buy for a second that she didn’t know. Especially if the rest of her household had them already.

I never knew it took that long to start to feel itchy. Eek.

I had no idea about this! I got lice in my early 20s and was told it was infested. Couldn't understand why as I'd been fine up to a day or two before.

I had lice as a kid twice and my mom used some shampoo and I feel like they went away like instantly both times, my mom didn't even catch any lol I don't remember it being something too bad

I had it frequently as a child and we discovered that hair dye would kill them. Coincidentally I wanted to be blonde (was like 12) and my mom let me use a box dye and it killed them all. Next time I got it again (from a girlfriend who seemed to permanently have them) I just did it again lol. By the time I was 13 I was actually blonde from all the re-bleaching box dye

What, your hair turned and stayed blond after all that bleaching?

She thought she was menopausal, because she had lice? What?

itching can be a symptom of menopause.

hmm but wouldn't you look in your hair within those two weeks to just investigate for a minute? would someone really just assume menopause instead of ruling out physical issues?

"She also accused Biggs of not thoroughly checking her hair when they first suspected the problem."

I mean, I think she definitely knew before the plane. Not to mention, I also believe that she'd have funds to go to a walk-in clinic and get it double checked, especially if it's going 'round your house

I was like "Who?" so I googled her and found out she's a Zionist who has attended IDF fundraisers, so fuck her doubly.
