anyway, I left twitter years ago and it was genuinely the best thing I've ever done for my mental health. I don't regret leaving, you couldn't pay me to get back on it. tumblr remains supreme.

I don't think a single person that is critical of trump should remain on twitter. not a single person. trump = musk = twitter/x

Apparently the thing about calling Musk the First Lady was just a rumor, though still funny because King responded to it by saying "I didn't, but only because I didn't think of it."

Same. I had an account for like a week in college and it gave me so much anxiety every time I opened it (this was around the time of Obama’s second campaign, oh take me back) that I fully deleted and haven’t even attempted to go back since.

I don’t do much social media in general though. FB is full of MAGAts and identity thieves. The addictive nature of TikTok is too much for me. The only account I have is Instagram and I can go weeks without opening that too. I just don’t care enough.

i'm loving bluesky, most of the accounts i follow have moved over or post simultaneously on both that i'm not missing anything. i just wish more people would take the leap bc twitter is so insanely awful now what with the bots and the ads (and ofc the blue checkmarks)

Yeah as shitty as Twitter is, it's the only place when you get constant updates on Palestine. BlueSky is too much of a liberal echo chamber at the moment.

I started following a few Gazan accounts on there. The main issue could be people following too many users and being marked as spam, which is apparently being addressed. Hopefully, it gets cleared up soon.
