I quit early last year and in the beginning I did a lot of "phantom taps" on my iPhone Home Screen to open the app, pretty much out of habit but that only happened for a few weeks. I have not looked back since. I recently did this with all of my news apps because I was tired of how the media spins Israel as the forever victims. Also just took a few days for my digital "withdrawal" to be over

Good! I hope the waves of people getting off Twitter continues.

Reminds me to delete my husband’s (he has a small following but hasn’t used it since Elon).

I'm on Bluesky now, but I'm starting to slowly move away from Twitter. A lot of accounts I like are still there, but… I'm really over it. Been there since 2013, met some cool people on there who I liked seeing pop up when livetweeting specific shows… End of an era. :(

I'm trying to quit but I haven't really found an alternative... Threads is too personal but I haven't found enough people on Bluesky yet...

Good for him. I signed up for Bluesky but haven’t used it much.

Downer take ahead. I have to admit it feels too little too late. Local man did what he needed to do with twitter. He got what he wanted. People now, just now in some cases, realizing that twitter is bad feels too late.
