The recent Jude Law posts have triggered the fact that I had a MASSIVE, but brief, thing for him back then. 😆

I just rewatched 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' two days ago after probably 20 years. It still holds up!

And of course, Jude is a snack in it.

I don't remember much about 'Alfie' other than how fucking hot he was in it. That is PEAK Jude Law for me.

Um, if an opportunity that landed in my lap meant I was overpaid and got to roleplay that Marisa Tomei AND Nia Long were romantically interested in me, I don’t think that would land anywhere near my list of regrets in life.

But taking that role and landing in an affair that would blow up my in real life marriage? Now, that might make me have less than fond feelings about that project, though.

not that he isn't a cheating dickhead, but i'm pretty sure he and Sadie Frost were already divorced when he did Alfie? i thought what killed that relationship is him blaming her for one of their kids accidentally swallowing an ecstasy pill at a children's party (ah the early noughts. what a time.)

The movie wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible. I don’t think it needed to be made, but it definitely had its enjoyable moments. Especially the part where Susan Sarandon just blithely says “he’s younger than you.”

I didn't like this movie and don't rate Sienna as an actress, but she was such an IT girl here. Like her clothes/hair/make up in this movie were everything.

I wish he'd done more wholesome romcoms like The Holiday. He was so dreamy in that.
