Lmao y’all don’t like her but she’s right unfortunately. Women and minorities in high places are literally trying to survive and that implies keeping their spot by torpedoing challengers, newcomers and nemesises. It was really disheartening to experience as a young non white woman trying to form relationships with women I admired in my field; it made me less trusting in the end. but I also try to do better for younger people. I don’t know, I just agree with her on that one I guess.

I guess it depends on your industry. In mine most companies are 75%+ women and don't have to deal with any of that.

Yeah, I was definitely born under a lucky star because women have uplifted me at every point of my career. When it comes down to it, i owe whatever professional success I’ve had to the many women who have looked out for me over the years.

Obvs this isn’t Hollywood but on a brighter note about women.. I was doing my practicum at a local library and ended up getting a part time job there. All 5 library branches here are full of women, top to bottom, and I’ve never been happier at a workplace. It’s the best feeling tbh.

Yes, barring dysfunctional libraries, which I've definitely read about like on Ask A Manager, libraries are great.

Cuz the users here do the same shit lol. Look at how gleeful they are about the downfall of certain ""annoying"" female celebrities while claiming to care about women. They're feeling some type of way about her comments cuz it applies to them as well.

It's crazy how getting into Marilyn Monroe and the blonde bombshells of decades prior to the 90s, we always did this to conventionally "beautiful" women.... it's an obsession rooted in either envy or possessiveness that ends in ruin
