I LOVE cheese, but it doesn't love me anymore.

My favorite cheese is halloumi.

I fucking love cheese. One of the best I've ever had is Saint Angel triple cream brie. It's so buttery, and not nearly as musty as other bries I've tried. Not a huge fan of musty cheeses.

My favorite cheese, though, is probably Beecher's Flagship. I tend to prefer sharper, nuttier cheeses, and I love when cheese has those little crystals in it. That's Flagship to a T. (Trader Joe's Unexpected cheddar is a very close dupe. It's not quite the same, but the tradeoff is that it's cheaper.)

Yes, right now from Aldi we got truffle goat cheese. Rather sharp, maybe a bit bitter. Not sure if that's the goat cheese or the truffle. We've had goat cheese before & it's a bit sharp-ish, so it's possibly both.
From Wal-Mart we got what they call a "cheese flight" that has Irish Cheddar, smoked Gouda and Dijon & herb rubbed Fontal. We've had Irish Cheddar & (non-smoked) Gouda before, but not Fontal. Which is why we got this thing. You can smell the smoke on the Gouda, but don't really taste it. The Fontal is fairly mild and you taste some of the Dijon & herbs.
Also from Wal-Mart we got Cracker Barrel artisan flavors truffle Cheddar where you can taste a bit of bitter-ish truffle & dill Havarti that has a bit of an herbal taste.
We had all of this with the Target entertainment crackers, which are OK. not quite as good as Wal-Mart's or Aldi's.
