Everything i'm hearing about this campaign makes it sound like it was completely manufactured. Wouldn't surprise me if the Dems were actively trying to lose.

I only half agree, I'm sure there was plenty of nonsense happening behind the scenes, especially with the Biden team who thought it was fine when their internal polling said tr*mp would win 400 electoral college votes, but there were also thousands of staffers and volunteers working their assess off in a very short time. Kamala went to each swing state so many times. It did make a difference because she lost by a smaller % in swing states than in blue states where they didn't have that ground team. It just wasn't enough.

I know it sounds crazy but Amani Barbarin made a video about that like a day ago and it seems so plausible. And she's not the typical social media conspiracy theorist, if anything she just looks at what's happening and timelines and patterns. Plus all her knowledge of disability justice and how that effects the larger political climate.

I'm frustrated with the fingerpointing. Kamala ran a good campaign. It's not easy to overcome racism, sexism, and billionaires and foreign governments sowing disinformation.

I'm also exhausted. Democrats are folding immediately instead of fighting for the people they supposedly represent. You don't roll out the red carpet for fascists. Also why is the election not being investigated? The man tried to cheat last time so you'd think there would be some push back on the odd results but whatever. I don't expect democrats to fight anything ever.

Honestly, I think she was doing well up until that point. The theory that I believe is that a few weeks back they realized they were going to lose and were desperate, so she thought appealing to conservatives would tip her over the edge. Completely dumb, because if you’re conservative you’re just going to vote republican. Which the democrats just don’t seem to understand.

The DNC should be running around like the mayor in Nightmare Before Christmas right now. Counting and screaming the days until they need their next candidate ready, in front of people, and gaining trust. But of course that's not going to happen and we'll be screwed yet again next time

See I disagree. I think now is the perfect time to get someone’s name out there and start promoting them. It will show that they are actively working against 45/47, and playing the long game might be an advantage. The dems problem is they just sit on their hands for far too long. They need to be proactive.
