I love the show sfm but was a little bit disappointed by the finale, mainly bc it felt completely rushed (the season overall was weirdly paced) but also bc they left out a pivotal part of the last book, which explained why Lenu and Lila's relationship basically ended by the time it circles back to Rino's call and Lila's disappearance. it seemed to me it made no sense on the show how they left their relationship on the last scene and where they pick up afterwards, but I guess they went for a less bittersweet ending? idk, still it's one of my favorite book series and tv show, props to everyone involved!

i will forever be thankful to the show for introducing me to the neapolitan series, which became some of my favorite books ever. i think s1 and s2 are practically flawless, and a very faithful adaptation of the first two books. the show kinda started losing steam by s3 and s4 was definitely rushed, especially the finale. i blame the showrunners changing. however, i still enjoyed it and the finale made me emotional. i still think it's better than most of the popular tv shows airing rn and if it was in english it would be more popular. i'm def going to miss it

And I loved that we got to see child Lila again after so long.

Seeing little Lila again was a great reminder of how good the casting was. She and little Elena were perfect.
