I know he’s joking but I became obsessed with Ryan during Breaker High and followed his career until The Notebook (hate that stupid movie). He’s one of the few A-listers I genuinely like and think makes interesting movies.

I love this running joke Mackie has about his white co-stars getting Oscar noms or critical acclaim and he’s sort of just there lol no doubt people will lose their minds over him saying this though I hope his Cap movie doesn’t flop.

Late reply but for me it started with The Hurt Locker! It’s been a minute since I’ve seen it and at the time I was a Renner stan (I know, cringe), but I left wondering why he and Brian weren’t recognized more.

Yes! I love how close the cast still is. Mackie always delivers but he’s delegated to the supporting role too often so I hope that changes for him soon.
