She gave an interview (many) where she talked about a 3 picture deal MI 5-6-7, and that she and McQuarrie talked at length about the character arc. Whether she really (hmmm) or it was a fakeout remains to be seen.

Not gonna lie, it might have started slow as hell but everything that happened from the train ride on in the first movie was pure gravy. I'm not even gonna lie and say I won't be watching this because I know I will.
