I like the song , actually really like it but yeah unfortunately what I have heard from her and behaviour had made her look very unpleasant/ mean.
.I have been defending Nicole schrezinger all the time on how hateful the media and people could be but had to eat my word this week.
Wiyh Tyla, i hope we are all wrong and it is media hate train instead.

The breakfast club interview, some of her lives, the hold my mtva award , trying to categories cheat ,she comes across as dismissive, entitled and soberb.
Some of insta live/ ticktock really feel entitled and I am.better than everyone. Truly it was nothing major or problematic per se but those snippets rubbed me the wrong way.
the media has been on her case lately but unfortunately she is too fresh in the western public eyes to have these " controversies" .check her tag it is all probably here

The breakfast club is never anyone at their best light lol

Honestly I think she's been hounded a little unfairly ever since the 'controversy' of clarifying herself as coloured vs. claiming black and a lot of bad faith projecting from the media since. The VMA thing was overblown IMO and definitely started the 'uppity african' thing but she likes fun at herself plenty and I do wonder if her attitude or the way she carries herself is being seen in an unintentional way due to the difference in her being African vs. how black American girls carry themselves in media.

Cute. Idk why but she reminds me of Mya? The Mya thing may just be because she’s tiny and can dance lol. Mya had so much personality in her music though.

I don’t think she’ll be able to top Water. I did like Art. I don’t know much about her, but maybe she needs to work with some other producers to bring out her personality more.

surprised she wasn't nominated in the afrobeats category.
