Sabrina Carpenter has shared a video of her reacting to her first Grammy nominations.

During the Best New Artist segment, she says, "I don't know how that's possible. I'm a best old artist, I've been here."

wasn't Bon Iver nominated for Best New Artist after like 5 or so years after being pretty popular in the indie scene?

I do think the nominee committee doesn't try to nominate disney girlies that early, I swear they never get Best New Arist nods. Was Miley or Demi ever nominated?

Nope. The girls never were. Jonas Brothers were after Camp Rock and their 3rd album though so that's something to think about.

shouldn't y'all be attacking the grammys for allowing "old artists" to qualify when so many have before her (and some of them actually won)?
