so unexpected to adapt this!! I remember reading it as a very young child, and I remember Moonface but little else

to paraphrase my sister, Enid Blyton can make tinned meat sound like the best food on earth.

Also, that one story about the girl who put off fixing things and ended up paying the price for it had a profound impact on me as a child.

I loved Enid Blyton's books as a kid. My ONTD user name is actually from one of her book titles - first one I got as a birthday gift from a friend.

I've never heard of this series (though it sounds like I would have loved it as a kid), but she definitely has the perfect look for a fairy.
