idk i feel like he had to have approved the hikaru utada song right? i’d put them in the same similar random basket bc that song is not at all related to the origins
What are you talking about? Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence - FYI was Hikki's magnum opus with hard hitting lyrics that captured the movie and song perfectly:
Ching-a-ling, ching-a-ling (What, what) Ching-a-ling, ching-a-ling (What, what) Take me down to the fields where the grass is Where the grass is lying MP3, MP3 (Players) Work it out, work it out (Hustlers) Om Mani Padme Hu-u-um, Hu-u-um, Hum (Chook-ah)
I'm sorry to say I found this quite boring. I also thought the line distribution was really uneven - not enough Liz, as usual. Starship kind of treats her like they did Dawon from WJSN. Except in this case, it's worse because Liz is far and away their best vocalist (no shade to Yujin, who is also very good), while Dawon was just one of several great vocalists (and easily bested by Yeonjung).

I wonder what Ryuichi Sakamoto would think of this
