I think if the first episode didn't grab you, it might not be for you. I will say having the captions on helped a lot with getting the jokes because they talk so fast!
Rudy/Madison allegedly had some sort of falling out/drama, which meant that (spoilers for part 2): [Spoiler (click to open)]JJ was killed off (presumably at Rudy's request).
Hoooooooly shit. I wonder what the drama was that they couldn’t get through yet the literal leads got through a breakup.
Damn. He was a great part of the show. The character annoyed the shit out of me at times, but I understood his frustration. In fact, his whole Joker moment in episode 6 gave me life. It’s literally how I feel after this election.
I watched the first three Omen movies (apropos this week, I guess).
The first one is a decent movie but I didn’t find it at all scary. The decapitation was pretty horrifying and effective.
The second one was more scary and a bit more of a straight up horror - I felt like the first one was more of a drama with some horror elements thrown in.
The third one was a complete snooze fest. Sam Neill was good as Damien, but it was just so slow and boring, and I didn’t care about anyone in it. Also they were way too vague about what was going on with the babies - what did the priest do with the one getting baptised?
I also finished S4 of Only Murders. I think I’m over this show. It didn’t really hold my attention at all, and a lot of it just seemed meandering and bleh. I wasn’t interested in any of the new characters.
The shows I was watching all finished their seasons so I need something new now. I might start the new season of What We Do in the Shadows this week and maybe Rivals because of David Tennant.

I started Derry Girls because everyone here says it is so good. How many episodes do I watch before it gets good?

Oh I thought it was great right from the off. Maybe it might not be for you.
