The British version is currently my least favorite of the three (although it has improved since they replaced Matt with Alison). The judges on the Canadian and Australian shows are so much better than Paul and Prue, and I love Ann/Alan and Natalie/Cal (RIP).
I found it hilarious that three different Bake Off franchises made tiramisù within the same week despite having completely different themes (Canadian: coffee & tea, British: dessert, Australian: Italian). I love tiramisù so I’m not complaining!
Ha and I loved that more than one baker used pineapple on their pizza!
I really enjoyed the technical challenge. Both the Canadian and Australian shows demonstrated this week that you can have a challenging technical with multiple components AND give the bakers enough time to complete it. I hate that in recent years GBBO has reveled in shortening the amount of time for challenges so that there isn’t enough time to let the baked elements cool and the buttercream starts melting.
I continue to love the risks that Arvin takes with his flavors. The cherry cola and spicy mustard glaze sounded really interesting.
I was really afraid that Adrian was dooming himself when he said he had to do well this week since he’s Italian. Doesn’t he know saying stuff like that is a reality show curse?!
ngl i'm happy Elliot didn't go, i love his nerdy ass lol. next week will be interesting, there's really not much separating everybody. pulling for Arvin, tbh, although Dimi has been really impressive too.

I know, right?! Even if you think it, don't say it on camera unless you want to doom yourself!
