My dad's family is tall (he's 6'1") and my mom was 5'1" before she got degenerative back disease, and I came out at 5'2" lmao. My mom's family's genes are STRONG. My brother is 5'7", and since my SIL is 5'3", I expect my tiny little nephew who is way short even at 7 will also be short.

My family is very little. Grandma is 4’7. Grandpa 5’6. Mom 4’11 and dad is like 5’6

Same. I'm the shortest one in my family and I've always wanted to be tall. One of my female cousins is 9 inches taller than me! And I'm 5'4", the average height for a woman!
