Coming out of lurkdom to say that I didn’t know Maaya Sakamoto sang! I mainly know her through her voice acting work. Now I kinda wish they’d let her record a Japanese version of Aerith’s No Promises To Keep.

Maaya's singing career is as long as her voice acting's! Definitely one of my most favourite artists out there. I'd recommend gravity, tune the rainbow, Shounen Alice, basically anything that Yoko Kanno composes lol. 30 minutes night flight is pretty good as well!!

I wish Maaya sang in FF7 too... but I guess she barely does character songs 😭
