There was a prequel that came out in 2022. It was for Paramount Plus but it had a corresponding limited theatrical release.

Yessssssssssss! Although…the first one was so ridiculous (the story, but they took it seriously) and the second one was fun enough but they def played into the ridiculousness so now I am picturing a Chucky/Child’s Play territory. I love Isabelle so as long as she’s on board!

I don’t think I have heard of it til your comment but looking it up it feels right up my alley! The supporting cast, the costumes, setting! Ugh, I see my best option is AMC+ but I had to cancel my sub…I’ll have to see if I can get a free trial.
