Oh, geez. My cousin's husband died of that a few years ago at age 40, it was awful. Look up Tour de Tush (the WORST name but a good charity) and donate if you can pls ❤️❤️❤️

Brutal. That's got to be one of the worst cancers. Nobody wants that much attention on their asshole.

Also curious if he is doing traditional or holistic treatment. Somehow, I got into the part of youtube of people who didn't do chemo/radiation or sometimes even surgery and then later regretted it. Like, someone who is clearly stage 4 and actively dying hauntedly retelling how much they regret not doing traditional treatment for their initially stage 2 cancer. It's awful.

I got pushed a young woman's cancer video once and went back and watched her whole story (which frankly was confusing and I couldnt tell if she was lying or also confused) and it was honestly so sad. She opted for Vit C infusions instead of chemo and then was told the cancer had spread and she had months and she was shocked. These people are in deep denial and being fed misinformation.

I work in healthcare and we had a patient who is dealing with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, her and her mom ignored a noticeable lump on her breast for a really long time before getting it checked and being diagnosed. She told the tech that it’s not a death sentence, its a lifestyle change and it just breaks your heart with either how ignorantly or willfully delusional they are about it

Someone in my extended family died from breast cancer because she didn't want chemo. She tried treatment by changing her diet and all sorts of other woo-hoo stuff. By the time she came around to chemo, it was too late. That kind of stuff is hella depressing.

as someone with ulcerative colitis seeing every day people who don't have IBD get diagnosed with colon cancer scares me into thinking im bound to get it eventually

Yeah, I have UC too and it’s always at the back of my mind how I have a higher chance of getting colon cancer. It’s one of the reasons why I try not to taking things too seriously and live my life as much as possible because my UC symptoms have increased over the years and I’m worried about how I’ll be in the next couple of years.

I just had my first colonoscopy this past summer and it was easy easy, so get one if you can!

I had two benign polyps removed. The reason I got it before 45 is because all of my siblings had had polyps early as well, so if you're getting push back honestly just lie and say family history.
