She's got star quality/stage presence, vocals, good lyricism in her songwriting and she has a mean side. Really the total package, I'm a fan!

Aww Chely Wright walked so Chappell Roan could run. Love it! Now if only she could allow me a way to listen to the studio version of this song continuously in exchange for money.

It's interesting because this genre doesn't 100% suit her voice like her more recent music has (Chappell has the vocal chops but is missing a timbre that would click with the sound perfectly), however, the attitude of the song, plus the lyrics, mixed with the whole ensemble, is really elevating it a lot. Her branding (aka lesbian c**ty country) is top tier right now. It'll be interesting to see if she still has this level of branding and momentum by the time the album comes out.

My guess is her label is being aggressive about leaks and copies, and the algorithm is auto-reporting the SNL performance.
