He has literally been playing the same character since 'Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place.' (Yes, I watched it and before they shortened the name. 😆)

He is just dressed differently/put in different scenarios, but is the exact same character. The only exception I can think of is that "Amityville Horror" movie he did.

I watched some of that when it was under the original name, then stopped for some reason. But almost every time I see something about Ryan Reynolds, I think of this show; how its possible he’s as young as he is when that was so long ago; and how he’s the one who’s still around and so popular from that show. (Well, and Fillion, who I don’t think about much.)

He's always had that "incredibly desperate to be famous and taken seriously" air about him, so I'm not surprised to hear any of this. Everything he does in public is an act to try and get people to like him.
