Ooohh, i just today watched the first John Wick movie with audio commentary and the director mentioned that they never even met Eva, but thanked her for the money lol. She got an Executive Producer credit.
And they mentioned a bunch of times that they had no money

sometimes i think i should save some money or invest a bit or sth to have literally any kind of security for retirement, if i ever get to retire.

then i remember i currently receive a student scholarship and have no income beyond what i manage to live on modestly.

we live in a hellscape.

are you in the US? as maybe you can plant the tiny seed of retirement investment now? cuz yes, continually setting aside money to save and invest is the goal, but a huge part of investing is doing any amount as early as possible. just time will allow the money to grow. put in $100 today, forget it for a year, and it will grow more than sitting in a regular bank savings account.

making assumptions, you could open a Roth IRA and if maybe you can spare to invest $100-$1000 in it? you can open the Roth IRA account with any of Fidelity, Vanguard, or Charles Schwab and id recommend you a fund to invest in (think index fund, mutual fund, etf). these funds will not be a single company to invest in, the fund will instead invest in a collection of top companies.
