That might be the single best jumpscare I've ever experienced. Told my friend to watch but didn't tell him which episode or when and it got him good too.

Things rarely scared me but this one scene. It got me. The whole show was perfect, but the car scene. Damn.

I don’t know how to do spoilers for those who haven’t seen it but THAT scene in Hereditary is the most visceral jump scare I’ve seen in recent memory. Literally the hair on my scalp stood up and my body broke into cold sweat. I’ve never experienced anything like it before or since.

I actually had a legit cold sweat at the end of The VVitch, when Black Philip starts talking to her. Not really a jump scare, but just so, SO eerie.

absolutely! it does a really good job of making you feel uneasy. it's not the best movie i've seen but it's definitely one i would recommend.
